A Kitocha product, built for Kenyan chamas, welfare groups and SACCOs

See every contribution. Never touch the money.

Jamii Pay tracks and reconciles what your group collects automatically. Every payment goes straight to your own M-Pesa Paybill or Till, matched to the right person the moment it lands.

No card required. Your Paybill or Till stays yours from day one.

Non-custodial by design. Jamii Pay never holds, moves or has access to your group's money. It only records and reconciles what already arrived.

How it works

Four steps, no spreadsheets

Set up once. From then on, every payment reconciles itself.

  1. 1

    Add your Paybill or Till

Connect the M-Pesa account your group already owns. Jamii Pay never changes where the money goes.

  2. 2

    Create a collection

Monthly dues, a welfare fund, a funeral contribution or an event. Set a target, a due date, or neither.

  3. 3

    Share the payment link

One link, shared on WhatsApp or anywhere else. Contributors pay with their own M-Pesa PIN.

  4. 4

    Watch it reconcile itself

Every payment is matched to the right person automatically, with a clear queue for the rare one that needs a human look.

Who it's for

Any group that collects money together

If your group tracks contributions in a notebook, a shared spreadsheet or a treasurer's memory, Jamii Pay replaces that without changing how the money moves.

Chamas and investment groups

Monthly contributions, merry-go-rounds and shares, tracked per member automatically.

Welfare and funeral groups

Raise support fast, see who has given, and show full transparency without a single spreadsheet.

SACCOs and savings circles

Member deposits reconciled against your own Paybill, with a full audit trail for every shilling.

Churches

Tithes, offerings and building funds, collected on your own Till and reported automatically.

Event and fundraising committees

Weddings, send-offs and harambees with a public progress bar so contributors see momentum build.

Alumni and school groups

Class projects, school fees drives and reunions, with dues reminders sent for you.

Questions

Before you start

Does Jamii Pay hold our money? +

No. Every contribution goes straight to your group's own M-Pesa Paybill or Till. Jamii Pay never touches, holds or moves the money. It only reads what M-Pesa confirms and matches it to the right person.

Do we need our own Paybill or Till already? +

Yes, you bring the Paybill or Till your group already uses or sets up with Safaricom. Jamii Pay connects to it. We never issue or control the account.

What happens to a payment that doesn't match anyone? +

It shows up in a clear "needs review" list, usually because someone paid on a relative's behalf. A treasurer picks the right person in a couple of taps, and nothing is ever silently lost or guessed at.

Can every member see our books? +

No. Only admins, treasurers and auditors see contributor details and payment history. Ordinary members see the collections they can pay into, nothing more.

Is our data safe? +

Connections are encrypted, passwords are never stored in plain text, and every request is checked against who you are and which group you belong to. Read the privacy policy for the full detail.

How much does it cost? +

We are setting final pricing alongside our first groups, and it will be a simple flat price per group rather than a cut of what you collect. Sign up now and we will let you know before anything changes.
